Every time I challenge the Pokemon League in BW I’m able to beat them without any losses, resets, or Revives. :P I hope BW2 is a little more challenging. Or maybe after 12 years of playing Pokemon it’s time to call it quits? Or maybe just stick to occasional battles against friends in lieu of time-consuming play-throughs?
My team was Philomena/Mienshao, Framboise/Scolipede, Fonzie/Simisage, Flapjack/Stunfisk, Antoinette/Jellicent, and Ammolite/Archeops. Team members who didn’t make the cut were Jasper/Zebstrika, Ron/Stoutland, and Andre/Emboar.
Gen V starters suck… this was the first time that I boxed my starter before reaching the Elite Four. The pseudo-starter monkeys are awesome, though, and I love Simisage’s design. Archeops is crap in competitive battles but great for OHKO’s in the game. The reverse is true with Jellicent, but I love the Cursed Body ability and it was my only Pokemon with an ice move. Scolipede isn’t hugely useful without Earthquake and its secondary poison typing is unfortunate, but Megahorn is one of my favorite moves. Mienshao slaughters everything with Jump Kick. Stunfisk… well, he just cracks me up.
