| Math Ed Teacher: | Your lesson needs to include a mock letter-to-parents on official letterhead. |
| Everyone: | Where are we going to get letterhead? |
| Me: | Yay, I get to invent a fictional school and design letterhead. |
Wow, I LOVE the new icons! Much cleaner and cuter.
Facebook should take note: introduce changes a little bit at a time, not as huge overhauls based on less-than-thoroughly tested, buggy code!

Decent narrative and plenty of illustrations; print is not dead.
What’s on your shelf?
My dad owns the best little library on campus—this is only a slice.
125 Stadiums (via 20x200)
Poster by Jenny Odell, created by combining the Google Satellite Views of 125 stadiums. Awesome.
When I saw this on the Tumblr radar I thought it was a scan of rhinestones. Awesome!
I love this original 1939 design. Such a stoic, pragmatic message. I cringe every time I see stupid adaptations of it.
I hope it’s for an art project, or else my dad is completely insane.
My favorite font of the moment.
Reservoir Dogs inspires so many great posters!

This is a series of skateboards that I designed for myself (left) my son Jake (middle) and my little brother Andy (right).
This makes me want to join the family traditions of skateboarding and graphic design!
EDIT: these are actually real skateboards. Dad assigns a skateboard project in one of his design classes in which his students design their own “pro model” board and merch to accompany it. He then sends their designs to BoardPusher, a company that prints custom graphics on quality decks at a decent price! No wonder my dad gets such good student evaluations. :)
